Her career in television journalism and production, anchored by her years as a Senior Producer at the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), give her a precise understanding of how narratives are built, how audiences are reached, and how reputations are shaped under scrutiny. That foundation informs everything she does today. At BBC World Service Trust, she supervised and trained television producers on interactive programming; at Abt Associates, she designed and delivered behaviour change communication campaigns that achieved measurable community acceptance of public health initiatives; at the FCT Community and Social Development Project, she managed communication campaigns and produced advocacy content for community engagement and institutional partners at the highest level.

Today, Devaan applies that accumulated expertise to a different but related challenge: helping individuals and organisations whose public presence does not yet reflect their actual standing. Through MNAVE Communications, she conducts rigorous digital presence audits, develops executive positioning strategies, manages media relations, delivers crisis communications support, and trains spokespersons and senior teams to engage the media with confidence and authority. Her clients include senior lawyers, government officials, NGO leaders, and institutional executives who need their digital and public profile to work as hard as their careers.

Devaan holds a Master’s degree in Management from the University of Liverpool, a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Benue State University, and is an Accredited Management Trainer (AMT), a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (MNIPR), and a Member of the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON). Her work sits at the intersection of media credibility, strategic communications, and executive authority.
